National Disaster Search Dog Foundation
Our profits, your charity
Giving to charity at checkout is a powerful fundraising tool. But instead of asking you to round up your receipt, we're inviting you to direct where our donations go.
How much is being donated is prominently featured on every product, so there's no guessing how much we're giving - it's real money making a real difference to our Working Dog partners.
Where is my donation going?
We have partnered with The Natural Disaster Search Dog Foundation for our Search & Recovery charity. When you select Search & Recovery as your charity at checkout, we will make a donation on your behalf directly to them.
Why donations matter
From every order, Engine 34 will make a donation to the charity of your choice. This donation is part of our Fueling Heroes™ Campaign which provides funding to working dogs across the United States.
Each year, dogs and their handlers respond to thousands of calls for missing persons. Often times, during natural disasters including wildfires, and hurricanes, and structural collapse. These dogs and their handlers work tirelessly to make an impact in our communities, saving lives, and bringing hope to those around them.
Rescue to Rescuer
One of our favorite things about SDF is their mission to recruits dogs from across the country that are rescued from abuse or abandonment. After testing, each dog is trained to become a life saving search dog.
Firefighters & Search Dogs
SDF pairs their dogs with firefighters and other first-responders, who are trained to handle chaos that comes with disaster situations. These search dogs become one of the most valuable tools when they are needed most.
The Lifetime Commitment
Once a dog is rescued, SDF ensures that they will never need to be rescued again. If for some reason a dog does not complete the required training, or cannot remain with its handler, SDF places them in a Lifetime Care home.
No Cost to Fire Departments
It costs $50,000 to recruit, care for, and train each dog, partner it with a firefighter-handler, and provide ongoing training to the team. Once trained, SDF provides these dogs at no cost to fire departments and other disaster response agencies.
