Do The Right Thing. 

With everything going on in our lives, both personal and professional, this may be sometimes hard to do. We are always pulled in several directions when there are tough decisions to be made. Even after weighing all the possibilities or options, decisions are sometimes still very hard to make. But, under closer examination, there usually is a "right thing". It may take personal sacrifice, it may not be what you really would want to do, but it is the correct thing to do.

Engine 34 at its core is a tribe. We are dog owners, and handlers who are committed to embrace the occasional suck that comes with dog ownership. Also, we are not a tribe who walks past a problem, we are inclined to lend a helping hand, to stop what we are doing to support friend, or stranger. 

While our mark is free, it comes with a price. We want to foster the concept of Doing the right thing. If there are lost persons or dogs, we do what we can to help find them. If there is a storm in our community, we're the first to take action. If someone is stranded and needs help, we have an open heart to support them. And when someone needs to talk, we are there to listen. 

Display it how and where you wish, and when life presents an opportunity, DTRT, and lend a hand where its due.
